Sacraments

Baptism

It is required to attend a Baptism Preparation Class for your child before a baptism is scheduled. Classes are scheduled throughout the year. Please see the bulletin for the most current offerings.

Reconciliation

Children should be prepared for the Sacrament of Reconciliation prior to receiving the Sacrament of First Communion. Classes are required - please contact our parish office for more information.

First Communion

Preparation for First Communion or Eucharist typically begins in Grade 1 and continues through Grade 2 when children will receive the sacrament. Please contact our parish office for more information.

Confirmation

Confirmation for children receiving their Sacraments of Initiation typically happens in the Spring and is designated by the Diocese of Saginaw. Please contact our parish office to inquire about Confirmation Preparation Classes for your child.

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA)

The OCIA process is available at our parish. Any interest or questions about the Catholic Faith, please contact the parish office.

Matrimony

Arrangements must be made at least six months prior to receiving the Sacrament. Please contact the parish office to inquire about availability and pre-marital programs.

Anointing of the Sick

When entering the hospital, anticipating surgery, or when confined to home, please notify our parish office. Please know that there is no need to wait until a person is at the point of death to receive the Sacrament. A careful judgment about the serious nature of the illness is sufficient.
